Jeff Lowden
CEO, founder

• First held a fly rod at age 6
• Been fishing the Lake Ontario Tribs and particularly
the Salmon River since the Mid 80's
• Marketing Degree from Pennsylvania State
University where I got to spend some time fishing
and learning among legends of the sport: Joe    Humphreys and George Harvey

I created this organization with a hope and idea that I could find like minded people whom care about the fishery enough to give back to it and assure its survival for generations to come.

Without the support of fellow anglers throughout the Eastern USA we would not have gotten this far and hopefully we will grow and become a major player in the Great Lakes Conservation movement.

President / Regional Director

I joined LOTAC in January 2010. I became the Capital District Regional Manager in March and excepted the position of Vice President in early April of 2010. Then in November of 2011 the LOTAC Directors offered me the position of President. My family and I have fished Lake Ontario and its tributaries since 1984. My passion for the fishery has grown with the passing of each year.

I graduated from the University at Albany with a degree in Physics and I am currently employed as an engineer with Philips. I am happily married with three beautiful daughters who accompany me on many fishing and camping trips to the Lake Ontario watershed.

My parents always took me fishing as a youngster and it is from them that I learned the art of angling for these spectacular gamefish. I fish a variety of methods from spin, fly, centerpin, and even backtrolling from a driftboat.

I am excited about LOTAC and the positive influence it will have on the tributary fishery.

Region Seven Director

I grew up in Syracuse, graduated from LeMoyne College in Business Administration, played lacrosse, and have loved to fish for as long as I can remember.  I enjoy all types of fishing, but I prefer to catch them on the fly.

My home water is the Salmon River, but I've fished almost every trib from here to Cleveland, Ohio.  I'm on the road constantly selling equipment as a profession, but I like to double dip whenever possible.

I feel that we should all give back to the river because she has nurtured us in so many ways over the years.  Personally, she has helped me in more words than I can articulate at this moment and now this is my chance to give back.

Regional Co-Director

Ryan Munro and Erik Munro were both born and raised in Sullivan County NY. Their home waters are the Neversink, Delaware, Hudson, Willowemoc Creek, Beaver Kill, Mongaup. They are both experienced fly fishermen and have just added the centerpin to their arsenal.

They have experience with Trout, Salmon, Large and Small Mouth Bass, Stripe Bass, Carp, on the fly or the pin. They have both been tying their own flies for about 4 years now. Between the two of them, they have 30 years of experience fishing the Salmon River and its tributaries.

They have just purchased a fishing camp 10 minutes from the Salmon River, and you will see them on the river from September through May. They are both strong believers in keeping the river systems clean for our future generations.

I have spent the last 15  years fishing the inland streams of  and more recently the tributaries of lake ontario for migratory salmonids. Previously I had been active with the Seth Green chapter of Trout Unlimited. When I'm not busy working or spending time with my family I can be found fishing in the southwestern Lake Ontario rivers and streams.

Please join LOTAC and volunteer in any way you can to help in conserving and improving the tremendous resource of the Lake Ontario tri

• Avid flytyer and fisherman since an early age.
• Tripping and falling all over the tribs since the 90's
• I try not to take life too serious and enjoys a good
laugh on the river, mostly at my expense.

I have a deep love for the outdoors and the sound of water running over rocks just sends a calming chill down my spine. I'm very hopeful that the wonderful resources we have available in the Lake Ontario region are still here for future generations to come.

We as anglers, really must take an active roll to try and preserve it. Grass roots movements run deep in my soul so LOTAC just makes sense to me. I encourage anyone on the fence to join LOTAC and try to give a little back to what has freely been given to you!
